Proverbs 31: 8,9 My voice matters, our voices matter. Our voices are not being heard or respected. What I am looking to accomplish is a return of voice of the people that or elected representatives take seriously. I believe I am different than most people running for office. I look in the mirror and I realize I have 2 ears and 1 mouth. What does that mean to me, I should listen twice as much as I talk.
A majority of the issues we have as citizens starts with us having a say in our government. Our voices and concerns are not being addressed because the lobbyists and PACS along with special interest groups and their money speak louder than our votes. We need to address the Campaign Finance and the dark money in politics.
Voter Disenfranchisement 28% of the registered voters in Florida are registered as Independents. the main parties (Republican and Democrats) in the state take advantage of that by closing the primaries with write-in candidates. the Solution is semi open primaries. Giving the NPAs a say in the primaries. We may get more than a 10% turnout.
Cost of Living Property taxes, Homeowners Insurance, and Auto Insurance.
Return the development decisions to the people in the Community and local government follow the Comprehensive Plan.
